Our shared values, approach and development priorities as a coaching group
This section will be developed collaboratively by the U12s coaching team ahead of the 2026/27 season. Once agreed between coaches, it will live here as the shared foundation for everything we do on the training pitch — from how we structure sessions to how we talk to players.
To be defined: our style of play, the principles we want the squad to internalise, and how we want to win rugby matches at U12 level.
To be defined: the technical, physical, and personal development pillars we will focus on across the season. How these shift from the summer programme into the competitive season.
To be defined: how we coach — the balance of Tell, Sell, Ask and Delegate across different session types. How we build player confidence and decision-making.
To be defined: the team values we want to build — what we expect of players on and off the pitch, and what they should expect from their coaches.
